Bock & Brown Sugar Sauteed Mushrooms
We love to serve these yummy little tidbits in a variety of ways – great with a steak, or serve as finger food with toothpicks.
Serves 6-8 / Prep Time: 10 mins / Cook Time: 25 mins
- 1 pound white mushrooms, wiped clean with a slightly damp paper towel
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- 1 bottle Cookwell & Co. Bock and Brown Sugar Marinade
If serving the mushrooms with steaks, slice them. If serving as a finger food, leave them whole, removing the stems. If mushrooms are large, cut them into quarters.
Melt butter in a 10-inch, deep-sided skillet over medium-high heat. When butter is melted and foamy, add the mushrooms and onion. Stirring constantly, sauté for 5-7 minutes,or until onions are wilted and transparent. Add the Bock and Brown Sugar Marinade, stirring to blend well. Lower heat to a simmer and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until liquid is reduced by half and thickened. Serve hot.
