Super Moist Coffee Cake
Serves 8-10 / Prep Time: 15 mins / Cook Time: 60 mins
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 jar Cookwell & Co. Bananas Foster Sauce
- 1 small box butterscotch pudding mix
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 stick butter, softened and cut into small cubes
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Making the Super Moist Coffee Cake
A great coffee cake is hard to come by, and Cookwell & Company prides itself with having come up with a pretty good one. Fix one up for yourself and your family and tell us how you like it great for morning conversation and afternoon snacks over coffee or tea.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray; set aside.
In bowl with an electric mixer, combine all of the cake ingredients and beat, starting on low until all of the dry ingredients are incorporated, and increase slowly up to high, for just at 3 minutes, or until you see the batter is smooth. Turn batter out into prepared pan and bake the mixture in a preheated oven for 35 minutes.
While cake is baking, make sure you prepare the delicious Topping. Combine these ingredients in a medium bowl and mash up everything with the back of a fork until the mixture is crumbly and evenly blended.
Scatter the topping all over the cake evenly and consistently and then bake an additional 15-20 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Get your plates out, serve warm and enjoy.
