Asian-Style Slaw

Think of a great picnic basket packed with grilled chicken breasts, chilled roasted asparagus spears, a European-style potato salad, some rustic bread and this great Asian slaw. Pack the car!

Serves 4-6 / Prep Time: 5 mins / Cook Time: 0 mins


  • 1 bag shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup toasted skin-on sliced almonds
  • 1 can Mandarin oranges, well drained
  • 1 tablespoon Asian-style rub
  • 3/4 cup Cookwell & Co. Asian Ginger Vinaigrette



Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss to blend well. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

You can also use this slaw in fish tacos, or as a bed for serving crispy fried, broiled, or grilled fish or shrimp.
