CHEF RECOMMENDED DIRECTIONS: Pour the contents of the posole jar in a 2 to 4 quart pot and place over medium heat. Add 8 oz (approx.. 1 cup) of cooked and diced or shredded pork shoulder, chicken, ground turkey or beef. Stir occasionally until hot and ready to serve. Garnish with shredded cabbage, thinly sliced radishes, diced avocado, cilantro, diced onion, and wedges of lime. Hot sauce or chiles can be added for more heat.
OTHER GREAT INGREDIENTS TO TRY: Add your favorite beans or lentils, shredded kale, whole kernel corn, diced squash or mushrooms. Or make you a seafood posole by adding cooked shrimp or crab.
