Green Chile Mac & Cheese Recipe

Is there any food more nostalgic than mac & cheese? It’s a dish most of us grew up on, and continue to love to this day. If sometimes you still find yourself craving big bowl, but want something a bit more sophisticated than Kraft - then this recipe is for you. It’s still as simple as the boxed mac & cheese of our childhoods, but with a green chile twist.     Ingredients
- 1 lb. Velveeta or easy melt American cheese
 - 1 jar Green Chile Stew
 - 1 lb. small elbow pasta
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar
 
Directions
- On the stovetop or in the microwave, melt the Velveeta and Green Chile Stew in a large bowl. Stir once melted.
 - Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions
 - Once cooked, pour the drained pasta into the Green Chile & cheese mixture.
 - Add in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
 - Pour the Mac & Cheese into a 9x13 baking dish and top with the shredded cheese
 - Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbling.
