FAQ

What is it about Cookwell that makes it so special?

Our company was founded on creating products that bring people together around the eating occasion – and we do this by choosing the finest, freshest ingredients to make the very best product.  We’ve been striving to create unique flavors that can consumers can “wow” their friends and family with – like our Watermelon Vinaigrette, Bock & Brown Sugar Marinade or our Green Chile Stew.

Where can I buy your products?

Our products can be found in most states across the U.S. In Texas, our products are sold exclusively at HEB and Central Market. These stores carry the largest selection of Cookwell & Company products. Outside of Texas, a limited selection of our products can be found at participating Kroger, Safeway, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Zupan's, Metropolitan Market, Haggen and other independent retailer locations.

How long will the products last in my refrigerator once opened?

Depending on your refrigerator’s temperature and how long the jar was out and open on the kitchen counter, whether any cross contamination occurred, you can store Cookwell & Company products for 3-4 weeks. This time relates directly to how many times you open your refrigerator door, your refrigerator’s efficiency, etc. There is definitely no simple answer. But, if you love Cookwell products as much as we do, you'll probably finish the jar before you have to worry.

Can I have Cookwell shipped to me or my friends?

How do I read the expiration date?

Here’s an example to help clarify:

The "05" is the Day; "APR" represents the month; the following two numbers represent the last two digits of the year "13" = "2013"; "A" is the plant location; "10:24" is the time stamp of production (military time).
