Green Chile Crock Pot Pork Roast
A regal roast that cooks without supervisions.

Ingredients
- 1 3- to 5-pound pork shoulder roast
- Salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 jar Cookwell & Co. Texas 2-Step Green Chili Stew Mix
- 1 cup orange juice
Directions
Season the pork all over with salt and black pepper. Set aside at room temperature while browning onions.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep-sided skillet over medium heat. when oil is hot, add the onion and cook until browned and wilted, about 10 minutes. Add the Green Chili Stew mix and orange juice, stirring to blend well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned pork in a large crock pot and pour the Green Chili Stew Mixture over the top. Place the lid on the pot and cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until pork is fork tender. Serve hot.
