Bock & Brown Sweet Potato Casserole

We’d argue that it’s not just a side, but also a sweet, gooey hug for your taste buds. It’s one of the most cozy, seasonal dishes that’s sure to bring everyone together around the table. Sweet, savory, and just a tad indulgent, this casserole has got it all. So, roll up your sleeves and let's dive into making a sweet potato casserole that'll have everyone asking for seconds (and thirds)!
Ingredients
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch coins
- 1 cup Bock & Brown
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of cracked pepper
- Optional toppings: pecans, marshmallows
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 & grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, melt the Bock & Brown and butter together in the microwave.
- Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to the butter mixture.
- Pour the sweet potatoes into the bowl and use your hands to coat them in the sauce.
- Place the potatoes in the casserole dish and arrange into neat rows.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
- If desired, sprinkle the chopped pecans and marshmallows over the top for the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove from oven and let sweet potato casserole cool for a few minutes.
- Serve hot!
