Carne Guisada Meatballs with flour tortillas

Ingredients


  • 1 jar Carne Guisada Starter
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup white rice, cooked
  • 1 egg
  • 1 zucchini, cut into large dice
  • Corn, canned or fresh
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions


  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, rice, salt, and pepper.
  • Form 8-10 meatballs.
  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, pour in the Carne Guisada Starter and the beef broth.
  • Place the meatballs, zucchini, and corn into the pot. Simmer on low until the meatballs are cooked through, about 30 mins.
  • Serve hot with flour tortillas.
