Fish Creole

Fish Creole is a delicious and easy way to bring a taste of Louisiana to your kitchen, and our Creole Sauce is the ultimate, most delicious shortcut. Paired with fresh fish, this zesty tomato-y sauce is packed with flavor and a little bit of spice. It's perfect for a cozy dinner at home or when you want to impress guests without spending hours in the kitchen. Get ready to whip up a meal that's both comforting and full of exciting flavors!
Ingredients
- About 1.5 lbs. fresh white fish filets, such as tilapia, cod, or haddock
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 jar Bayou Brothers Creole Sauce
- 3-4 green onions, sliced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Rice, for serving
Directions
- Heat a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Add a few glugs of olive oil.
- Once the oil is hot, pan try the fish filets for about 2 minutes per side, until the fish is opaque and flaky. (You may need to do a few batches - add more olive oil as needed).
- Remove them from the heat and set aside.
- Add in the jar of Creole Sauce bring to a simmer.
- Spoon Creole Sauce into shallow bowls over rice, if desired. Top with fish and more Creole Sauce. Garnish Creole Fish with green onions and hot sauce.
