This Salmon in Creamy Shrimp Creole Sauce is a Southern-inspired seafood dish that’s rich, comforting, and packed with bold flavor. Bayou Brothers Creole Sauce brings all the spice and tang of Cajun cooking, while a splash of cream and tender shrimp turn it into a decadent topping for flaky trout. Ingredients


  • 2lbs salmon or Steelhead trout
  • 1/3 bottle Bayou Brothers Creole
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Tbs salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan
  • ¼ lb Shrimp (chopped)

Directions


  • Preheat oven to 400* season fillet with Adams rub and bake 10-12 min. until internal temp reads 145 degrees. 
  • If pan searing, cook approximately 4-5 minutes per side, starting with flesh side down.
  • Add heavy whipping cream to a pan and bring to simmer for about 5 minutes or until cream sticks to the back of spoon.
  • Add Bayou Brothers Creole Sauce and shrimp, then simmer for 2 minutes, then add cheese and heat until melted.
  • Pour creamy Creole on top of fillet.
